Images

Remove the background from a photo on your Mac.

Product shots, profile pictures, stickers — Clementine finds the subject with on-device machine learning and gives you a transparent PNG.

How it works

  1. Drag a photo

From Finder, the Desktop, Mail or a browser — anywhere you can drag a file.

  2. Tap ⌘, drop on CUTOUT

Hold Command (⌘) while dragging and a wheel appears around your pointer. Drop on CUTOUT.

  3. Done

You get a transparent PNG. The original is never changed.

Why Clementine

  • Runs on your Mac with Apple’s Vision framework — the photo never leaves it
  • Add a white, black or custom background afterwards
  • Prefer depth? Blur Background keeps the subject sharp
