Convert Keynote to PowerPoint on your Mac.
Built it in Keynote, presenting on someone else’s Windows laptop? Drop the .key file on PPTX and Clementine has Keynote export a PowerPoint for you.
Or with Homebrew: brew install --cask kapyar/tap/clementine
Your files never leave your Mac unless you share them.
How it works
Drag your Keynote files
From Finder, the Desktop, Mail or a browser — anywhere you can drag a file.
Tap ⇧, drop on PPTX
Hold Shift (⇧) while dragging and a wheel appears around your pointer. Drop on PPTX.
Done
You get PowerPoint .pptx decks. The original is never changed.
Why Clementine
Unreleased decks are exported by Keynote on your Mac, never uploaded.
- Keynote’s own export for the best fidelity
- No need to open each deck and click Export
- Originals stay untouched
- Runs on your Mac — nothing is uploaded
PPTX Saves a copy as PPTX next to the original. The original stays as it is.
This is the wheel you’ll see. Point at other petals to see what else the file can do.
Questions
Do I need Keynote installed?
Yes — Keynote is free on the App Store, and Clementine uses it to read .key files.
Will animations survive?
Most transitions and builds map to PowerPoint equivalents; Keynote-only effects are replaced with the closest match.
