Convert PDF to PowerPoint on your Mac.
Got a deck as PDF but need to present it from PowerPoint or Keynote, or add slides around it? Clementine makes a PPTX with one slide per page.
Or with Homebrew: brew install --cask kapyar/tap/clementine
Your files never leave your Mac unless you share them.
How it works
Drag your PDF
From Finder, the Desktop, Mail or a browser — anywhere you can drag a file.
Tap ⇧, drop on PPTX
Hold Shift (⇧) while dragging and a wheel appears around your pointer. Drop on PPTX.
Done
You get a .pptx, one slide per page. The original is never changed.
Why Clementine
Pitch decks and board papers stay on your Mac while they’re converted — nothing is uploaded.
- Slide size matches the PDF’s pages
- Sharp page images (about 220 DPI) that look good on a projector
- Opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides
- Runs on your Mac — nothing is uploaded
PPTX Saves a copy as PPTX next to the original. The original stays as it is.
This is the wheel you’ll see. Point at other petals to see what else the file can do.
Questions
Will the text be editable?
No — each page is placed as an image, so the slides look exactly like the PDF. Add new text boxes on top, or use PDF to Word if you need to edit the text.
Can I go from PowerPoint to PDF too?
Yes — drop a PPTX or Keynote file on PDF.
