Documents
Convert Pages documents to PDF on your Mac.
Sending a .pages file to someone on Windows gets you a confused reply. Drop it on PDF and Clementine has Pages export it for you — no File › Export dance, even for twenty files.
Or with Homebrew: brew install --cask kapyar/tap/clementine
Your files never leave your Mac unless you share them.
How it works
Drag your .pages documents
From Finder, the Desktop, Mail or a browser — anywhere you can drag a file.
Tap ⇧, drop on PDF
Hold Shift (⇧) while dragging and a wheel appears around your pointer. Drop on PDF.
Done
You get PDFs that look exactly like the original. The original is never changed.
Why Clementine
Letters, CVs and contracts stay on your Mac. Clementine asks Pages to export them locally.
- Pages does the export, so the PDF looks exactly like the document
- Batch-convert many documents in one drop
- No need to open each file and click through menus
- Runs on your Mac — nothing is uploaded
PDF Saves a copy as PDF next to the original. The original stays as it is.
This is the wheel you’ll see. Point at other petals to see what else the file can do.
Questions
