Convert PDF pages to JPG on your Mac.
Need a page of a PDF as a picture — for a presentation, a post or an upload form? Drop the PDF on JPG and each page becomes its own sharp image.
Or with Homebrew: brew install --cask kapyar/tap/clementine
Your files never leave your Mac unless you share them.
How it works
Drag your PDF
From Finder, the Desktop, Mail or a browser — anywhere you can drag a file.
Tap ⇧, drop on JPG
Hold Shift (⇧) while dragging and a wheel appears around your pointer. Drop on JPG.
Done
You get one JPG per page, at 300 DPI. The original is never changed.
Why Clementine
Contracts, statements and scans are rendered to images on your Mac — the PDF is never uploaded.
- 300 DPI: crisp enough to print
- Every page, numbered, in a folder next to the PDF
- Works on scans and text PDFs alike
- Runs on your Mac — nothing is uploaded
JPG Saves a copy as JPG next to the original. The original stays as it is.
This is the wheel you’ll see. Point at other petals to see what else the file can do.
Questions
Can I get PNG instead?
Yes — PNG is next to JPG on the PDF wheel. Choose PNG for diagrams and text; JPG for photos and smaller files.
Can I export just one page?
Extract the page first (Organize Pages on the ⌘ wheel), then convert that one-page PDF.
